Think Big
Think Big changes the system, constraint, or customer outcome, then matches each bold choice to evidence, reversibility, and a practical path.
Multiplying a target does not make a plan ambitious. It usually preserves the same mechanism, hides the same assumptions, and adds an unsupported promise. A useful expansion starts with the outcome, then asks which rule, sequence, resource assumption, or customer boundary should change.
This playbook classifies constraints as fixed, chosen, or unknown and decisions as two-way, one-way, or unclear doors. It selects a thesis only when the evidence supports one, starts with a bounded test, and keeps exploration separate from approval and commitment.
A bigger number is not a bigger idea. Change the mechanism.
CURRENT PLAN Remove one step from an eight-step setup flow. OUTCOME Help a new user reach a first useful result in one session. RULE TO QUESTION Existing sequence: Unknown until evidence and authority are supplied.
10X THESIS Replace setup completion as the finish line with a guided path to one useful result. EVIDENCE GAPS Customer evidence: Evidence needed Useful-result baseline: Evidence needed STATUS Proposed thesis, not an approved plan.
