10x Strategy Meeting: Generate options beyond the current model without losing the reasoning
Teams reject unfamiliar ideas during generation or capture ideas without the reasoning, owner, and next decision needed to evaluate them later.
The useful response is not more ceremony. It is a mechanism that can generate options beyond the current model without losing the reasoning.
What the skill produces
The 10x Strategy Meeting skill turns supplied context into a facilitated session packet, one complete record per idea, and a routing table with owners and review dates. It should expose missing evidence instead of inventing it. The free skill packages this mechanism for explicit use. It does not fetch remote instructions, and the practitioner remains responsible for the facts and final decision.
Run the mechanism
- Define the outcome, constraints, and assumption the group may challenge.
- Separate idea generation from feasibility review.
- Route each captured idea to decline, test, plan, or later review with an owner and date.
The owner should review the output against the original evidence before it is used. Any unresolved assumption stays labeled, with an owner and date when it affects the decision.
Failure check
The session produces theater when incremental ideas receive a 10x label or ideas leave the room without a recorded why and next decision.
Adoption test
At the review date, count ideas with complete records and decisions. Assign owners and dates to anything still unresolved.
Keep the skill only if it improves the artifact or decision against that baseline. Revise the playbook when the same failure survives more than one review cycle.
